I've been working on some still life compositions at home. Will you please offer suggestions. I'm not very good at composing objects.

| What do you think of the above photo in black and white? Maybe a more vintage look? Also, composition...I wanted the focus on the front pearls and everything else blurred. Your thoughts? Should I have the cup in focus and the back pearls blurred. |
Don't pay attention to the white around the pearls...I was just playing...mostly interested in your thoughts about the composition. Any ideas?
