More Basketball

I'm a little behind in editing my photos...especially Mariana's basketball ones. Her seventh and eighth grade team went undefeated!! Even though Mariana is only in sixth grade, she and two other girls joined the upper grades team, so there were enough girls to make a team. It was a fun season for Our Father's Lutheran Trojans.

Mariana also played for Martin Luther Spartans with most of the girls coming from Hales Corner's Lutheran School. I saw them near the beginning of the season and then later on. I couldn't believe how much they all improved. She will continue working that team throughout the summers and will be attending a new school for seventh grade - Hale Corners...She's excited to switch schools because it's bigger and she knows a lot of the girls.

Snowball Tournament

It's been a while since I've been on my blog. In December I traveled to Milwaukee to watch the girls and while there, I attended Mariana's basketball tournament and basketball games. She has become a wonderful ball handler and even one of the refs told Haviland how much she has improved since last year. They took 2nd place in the tournament despite having only four girls. One of the players broke a bone in her foot. Of course, I took a lot of photos.
