Great pic. . . hope you enjoyed Canon 101. . . really sharp. . . personally I would like "less" dark around edges. . . but who knows what judges would say. . . who was your 101 mentor person?

Did you gain a lot from the class? Very sharp focus. I agree with Jane about the left side of the photo being a bit too dark.

His name was Dino Milani..... he's a fountain of good information. Really good class, however... I'm probably more confused, or on edge now about getting the right settings. That tree is too dark, (you guys are good judges) been trying to lighten it up. Having a rough time for some reason. He had us shoot in raw, so it should be easy, I just haven't accomplished it yet. ugh!

Do you have elements or Photoshop? If you have Photoshop, you can go to exposure has an adjustment layer and bring it up until your left side is as light as you want it. Then go to image, adjustment, invert. Make sure the white paint is selected and then paint over the section that you want brighter. Hope that helps. I can make a Jingcast and show you.

I have elements 11, no photoshop..... no time yesterday or last night to do anything more. The combine is just a rolling !! I will soon hopefully. Jane: Kris did a Jingcast (I think that is what it was) to help me post here on the blog. It is HER talking and explaining.... Very cool and very helpful.....
