After our Canon 101 and after our first "judging night", I found this picture that I took several months ago. I have done several things to it: checked the focus - f11, cropped it more so that the top flower was over more, took out a leaf, darkened the edges. May submit this one.

I think this one is definitely stronger than the one you from yesterday. I like the composition. Can you get rid of the two green thin leaves on the left side of the photo and the stray green behind the flower. I don't know...just trying to view this as a judge would. It's very sharp and the purple flowers are pretty. I like the green at the bottom right.
